The Full Story

In 2007, Linda Hudson and Debbie Parker purchased a small grooming business and renamed it 'The Dog Zone'. Since that time, they have expanded to over 3,000 square feet, adding cat grooming and a robust retail area. 

The Dog Zone now boasts over 18 years of client care, quality, and trust. Our staff has more than 115 years of combined experience caring for the smallest kitten and chihuahua to the largest Wolfhound, Doodle, and Maine Coon - and everything in between. So if you just need a bath and brush for your pet or a full haircut, we've got you covered!

Our facility utilizes the best and most up-to-date equipment, including grooming tables that go to the floor, a tub that lifts and lowers those that are old and/or infirm, and the newest and best tools to keep your pet shiny and happy.

Speaking of happiness, it is our mission to ensure every dog or cat in our charge receives the best care while they are here. We are always watchful of anxiety, medical issues, or anything else that may be a cause for concern. We also strive to form a bond with your pet so that they can trust is. Grooming is not natural for animals, so we must help them understand that we are not here to scare or hurt them. Building trust is of the utmost importance, something we continue to do with each visit.
